FURNITURE
East Indies Home uses only environmentally conscious sources for our plantation-farmed solid teak, rattan, banana leaf, bamboo and water hyacinth furniture. We support local artisans in their efforts to use renewable resources in the production of hand crafted furniture.
All our furniture is made to exacting standards that surpass the ordinary. We take care to make sure joints are reinforced, drawers glide seamlessly and each teak piece has a true hand-rubbed finish. Our wood and fiber furniture is durable, practical and aesthetically pleasing. Each piece is made individually, not factory produced, and clearly shows the touch of the artisan.
We believe that living with objects of authenticity enriches our experience of being home.
